On this page
All About Crochet is a home for free crochet patterns, friendly tutorials and handmade inspiration. We believe everyone should be able to find a beautiful, clearly written pattern — and the help to finish it — without paying or signing up.
Who runs this site
[SITE OWNER NAME] runs All About Crochet from [CITY, COUNTRY].
[Write two or three honest sentences about your crochet background: how long you have been crocheting, what you love to make and why you started this site.]
Why this site exists
Too many crochet patterns online are hard to follow, buried under pop-ups or missing the details that make the difference between a finished project and a frustrating one. We want to offer the opposite: calm, well-organized pages, clear instructions with stitch counts, and tutorials that explain the why as well as the how.
How our patterns are made
Every pattern published here is one of the following:
- Original — designed and written from scratch by our team.
- Commissioned — created for us by a designer under a written agreement.
- Shared with permission — published with the designer’s explicit written permission, with credit.
We never copy, scrape or rewrite other designers’ patterns.
Before a pattern is published it goes through our editorial process: [DESCRIBE YOUR REAL PROCESS — for example: making the sample, checking every stitch count, and asking volunteer testers to make it]. Every pattern page shows its testing status honestly, including when a pattern has not been tested yet.
What we care about
- Clarity — instructions that are easy to follow with a hook in one hand.
- Honesty — no invented reviews, testimonials, credentials or testing claims.
- Accessibility — readable, keyboard-friendly pages that work beautifully on a phone.
- Respect for designers — copyright matters to us, and we credit the people behind every design.
